Full Journal pdf2000-07-14 Senate Journal Page 3790 SB 259 Message dated and received May 22, stating: Dear President Pearce: On this date I have signed the following bill, passed by the second session of the Twenty-first Alaska State Legislature, and am transmitting the engrossed and enrolled copies to the Lieutenant Governor's Office for permanent filing: HOUSE CS FOR CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 259(JUD) An Act relating to crimes and offenses relating to aural representations, recordings, access devices, identification documents, impersonation, false reports, and computers; and providing for an effective date. Chapter 65, SLA 2000 Effective Date: 5/23/00 This Act creates new responsibilities for the Alaska State Troopers. Unfortunately, the Legislature refused the Administration's request for one additional Trooper position, which was to be assigned to work 2000-07-14 Senate Journal Page 3791 SB 259 cooperatively with the FBI and Anchorage Police Department units on cybercrime cases.
